How Could Russia Invade Europe?

Troubling News Ongoing in Eastern Europe

The Russian “Special Military Operation” in Ukraine has been going on for about 10 months now. At this point, the Ukrainian military – with help from NATO – has ostensibly fought Russia to a stalemate, with the battle lines not moving much since early in the operation. That may be just about to change with the freezing of the ground, since armies roll better on frozen ground than they do on mud. However, if a relatively small country like Ukraine can keep a major power like Russia from taking it over for this long, how could Russia ever hope to invade Europe like some prophecies say that it will?

One major factor in the dragging out of this operation has been the fact that, early on, Russia did not have the intention of destroying Ukraine – like the US and allies did to Iraq – they only wanted to demilitarize it and ensure that it would be a neutral country. Putin assumed that some negotiated end to the operation would be favorable to Russia in this regard. This has turned out not to be the case since Ukraine and NATO refuse to negotiate on terms acceptable to Russia.

To the Last Man?

Since Russia did not intend to destroy Ukraine, they did not commit a very large military force. That further limited the damage that they could do in a short time period. However, Putin has recently come to the realization that there will be no negotiated settlement favorable to him or Russia – Sen. Lindsey Graham just recently (12/22/2022) said that the war in Ukraine will not end unless Putin is taken out.[1] So not only does Putin have no motivation to negotiate, he has every reason to fight to the last man. It appears that Zelenskyy also intends to fight to the last man, so one side or the other in this fight will be completely eliminated if that holds up.

Russia would appear to have the advantage since over the past couple of months they have called up a couple hundred thousand troops and have moved a large amount of arms and equipment into the theater of operations. Ukraine has received a considerable amount of arms and ammunition from NATO countries through Poland, and some Polish troops are fighting on the side of Ukraine. It also appears that NATO advisors are helping Ukraine with the war. But the numbers are heavily in favor of Russia. (It is interesting that the name “Vladimir” in Russian can mean “one who rules the world.”)

Nuclear Threat

Since both sides appear to be willing to fight to the last man, the question of the use of nuclear arms comes into play. Russia has said that they will use nuclear weapons if they are attacked with nuclear weapons, or if the territorial integrity of Russia is threatened. Since Russia annexed four regions of what used to be Ukraine, any attempt to retake those regions would be considered an attack on Russia and could potentially trigger the use of nuclear weapons.

On the other hand, on 10/25/2022, at US-sponsored talks with Japan and South Korea, Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman announced that the US commitment to defending Japan and South Korea is “ironclad.” She then explained what that meant, stating that “we will use the full range of U.S. defense capabilities to defend our allies, including nuclear, conventional and missile defense capabilities.”[2]  US allies would certainly include any NATO country and probably Ukraine. So the world has been set up for a nuclear exchange.

Punishment Greater than the Deluge

In an approved apparition, Our Lady gave this warning to Sr. Agnes Sasagawa at Akita, Japan on October 13, 1973 (note the date was the same calendar day as the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima, and the fact that Japan is the only country to have had nuclear weapons dropped on it):

“As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son.”[3]

Blessed Elena Aiello

Our Lady warned at Fatima that “various nations will be annihilated” if Russia is not properly consecrated. Blessed Elena Aiello (1895-1961) gave a prophecy in 1954 that said: “… the world will be overturned in a new and more terrible war. Arms most deadly will destroy peoples and nations!” In another prophecy, given in 1959, she further said: “Russia will march upon all the nations of Europe, particularly Italy, and will raise her flag over the dome of St. Peter’s. Italy will be severely tried by a great revolution, and Rome will be purified in blood for its many sins, especially those of impurity! The flock is about to be dispersed and the Pope must suffer greatly.”  A further prophecy given on August 22, 1960 is similar: “Another terrible war will come from the east to the west. Russia with her secret armies will battle America; will overrun Europe.”[4]

Looming War in Europe?

Russia has threatened to attack the capital of any country that is directly involved in the war in Ukraine. Russian state television threatened to destroy the UK with Russia’s Poseidon underwater nuclear drone that could turn Britain into a nuclear wasteland by creating a radioactive ocean tidal wave 1,600 feet high.[5] Russia has said Poland will be smashed if it tries to intervene in its war on Ukraine.[6] Reports are circulating that Russia is now ready to invade and take control of the Polish-Ukrainian border. This would bring Russian armies much father west and into Central Europe. President Macron of France has been involved with some of the talks regarding the situation. Melanie of La Salette once said that “Paris will burn, and Marseilles will be engulfed.” It does not look good for Europe.

A prophecy in Chapter 9 of the Book of the Apocalypse of St. John mentions an army of 200,000,000 men. It is estimated that China alone has that many men of military age (18-30). If they allied with Russia against NATO, together they could theoretically field an army of that size. That same chapter of the Apocalypse mentions the Euphrates River and the loosing of the four angels who were prepared to kill one-third of men. The Euphrates River passes through Iraq and Turkey, both Muslim nations. Since the Muslim world is generally allied with Russia, they could join in. There are many Muslims now living in Europe who would probably side with Russia if they invaded. (For example, just consider how we’ve heard many news reports these past few days about Kurds violently protesting in the streets of Paris.) So a Russian-led invasion of Europe now seems to be quite plausible.

Fatima Is Urgent!

Therefore, it is of the greatest urgency that we all heed Our Lady’s Message of Fatima. We must pray that the Pope and bishops consecrate Russia, call for reparation, and reveal the words of Our Lady in the Third Secret of Fatima. We must each live Her Message faithfully. Cease offending God and remain in the state of grace. It truly is time for a Roman Catholic S.O.S.

R – Rosary. Pray your Rosary every day.

C – Consecrate yourself to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

S – Wear the Brown Scapular faithfully.

O – Offer Prayer and Penance.

S – Practice the First Saturday devotion every month.

In the end, Russia will be consecrated, and Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart will triumph!
The world will be given a period of peace.
