It should be obvious by now to anyone paying attention that we are experiencing a sort of hell on earth. The people who have been raising hell for decades and even centuries have succeeded in bringing it about. The latest wars in Ukraine and Israel have led us to the brink of nuclear war.
It is said that the corruption of the best is the worst. Although a global nuclear war would be a very bad thing, it would not be as bad as mass apostasy. St. Paul said that the reign of the antichrist would only come about through a revolt: “… unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition …” [2 Thessalonians 2:3]
The worst thing that will happen in the entire history of the world – besides the killing of Our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross – will be the reign of the antichrist. Our Lord even said, “And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved, but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened.” [Matthew 24:22]
The Freemason Albert Pike supposedly had a dream about the future. He wrote a letter about it in 1871 in which he predicted the czars of Russia would fall during a first world war, that Nazism would be destroyed while communism would rise during a second world war, and that the Zionists would battle Islamic leaders in a third and final world war during which they would mutually destroy each other. After this apocalyptic last battle, the survivors would “receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer.”[1]
We are not quite in the reign of the antichrist, but what we are experiencing right now is a foreshadowing of it. Some have said that this period of time is the Minor Chastisement, which is a prelude to the Major Chastisement and the three-and-one-half-year reign of Antichrist.
It has been suggested that the new English monarch could be a prefigurement of the antichrist.[2] The false prophet is supposed to be a religious figure who supports the antichrist and causes people to worship his image (Revelation/Apocalypse Chapter 13). A certain inhabitant of Vatican City could be said to prefigure that person. Robots endowed with artificial intelligence could prefigure the image of the beast, with the mark of the beast being a chip in your hand.[3]
The rise of Satanism is surely a sign that we are living in apocalyptic times. Whereas in days gone by that sort of thing was kept secret, it is now out in the open. The opening ceremony of the Gotthard Base Tunnel (a railway tunnel through the Swiss Alps) in 2016 was performed to worship the demon Baphomet and was attended by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, and Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern.
Various music artists and their performances are clearly satanic. Superbowl halftime shows are full of it, as are Olympic opening and closing ceremonies. There was a mass shooting at a Friday, November 13, 2015 Paris concert, which featured a band called Eagles of Death Metal playing a song called, “Kiss the Devil.”[4] The annual Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada is nothing but the celebration of debauchery. A “psytrance” festival was the first place attacked by Hamas in the October 7, 2023 invasion of Israel.[5] Those events are like demon magnets.
As bad as the corruption of society is, what is far worse is the corruption of the Catholic Church, since it is the one institution founded by Our Lord for the salvation of mankind. The Amazon Synod of 2019 with its worship of Pachamama brought demon worship into the Basilica of St. Peter itself. The 2023 Synod on Synodality is being held in the Paul VI audience hall, which looks like the head of a snake and has a hideous sculpture on the stage.[6] The 2021 Motu Proprio Traditionis Custodes is being used in an attempt to remove a big obstacle in the way of the rise of the antichrist – the Latin Mass. (Do you find it odd that shortly after the Pachamama worship the world saw the COVID chaos in China begin, and that shortly after the opening of this Synod on Synodality the terrorist attacks and war in the Middle East began?)
It is tempting to think that the antichrist is alive today, as Pope St. Pius X thought during his time. However, we are still promised an intervening period of peace by Our Lady of Fatima, which will last about 25-30 years, according to Melanie of La Salette and Marie-Julie Jahenny (both of France). Marie-Julie essentially said that the upcoming Three Days of Darkness will bring an end to the Minor Chastisement and usher in the period of peace.
Just as the return of Christ immediately after the end of the reign of antichrist will close world history and bring on eternity, we can expect the rise of the French Monarch and the pope designated as “Peter the Roman” at the end of the Minor Chastisement. Together they will completely restore the Church and society during the unprecedented period of peace promised at Fatima. According to Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser, the greatest of all ecumenical councils will be held during this time:
“All nations will come to worship God in the true Catholic and Roman faith. There will be many Saints and Doctors on earth. Peace will reign over the whole earth because God will bind Satan for a number of years until the days of the Son of Perdition. No one will be able to pervert the Word of God since, during the sixth period, there will be an Ecumenical Council which will be the greatest of all councils. By the grace of God, by the power of the Great Monarch, by the authority of the Holy Pontiff, and by the union of all the most devout princes, atheism and every heresy will be banished from the earth. The Council will define the true sense of Holy Scripture, and this will be believed and accepted by everyone.”[7]
A prophecy of Elizabeth Canori Mora suggests that it is only after the Three Days of Darkness that St. Peter himself will come and designate his final successor – Peter the Roman.[8] However, the French Monarch may put in an appearance before that as he is said to be the one to settle a civil war in France. The events in the Middle East could easily touch off a civil war in France, with its large Muslim population, so we may not have long to wait.
So let us cease offending God, amend our lives, and remain in the state of grace. That is, be Roman Catholics, and offer up a plea of help – a Roman Catholic S.O.S. – to Our Lady:
- Keep praying the Rosary;
- Consecrate (renew) yourself to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and pray for Russia’s Consecration;
- Always wear your Brown Scapular faithfully;
- Offer prayer and penance (for the Church, the Pope, many souls), especially the penance of your daily duty and keeping God’s Commandments; and
- Make reparation through the First Saturday devotion each month!
