Pray the Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary with us as part of the Rosary Novena for the formal promulgation of the First Saturday Devotion, offered for the intentions of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts and for the Pope and bishops.
In the Glorious Mysteries, we meditate upon Our Lord’s Resurrection and Ascension, the descent of the Holy Ghost, the Assumption of Our Blessed Mother, and Her glorious Coronation as Queen of Heaven.
The Glorious Mysteries
The First Glorious Mystery — The Resurrection
We meditate upon Our Lord Jesus Christ rising gloriously from the dead on the third day.
The Second Glorious Mystery — The Ascension
We contemplate Our Lord ascending into Heaven after forty days, blessing His disciples and promising to remain with them until the end of the world.
The Third Glorious Mystery — The Descent of the Holy Ghost
We meditate upon the Holy Ghost descending upon the Apostles and Our Lady, filling them with divine grace and strengthening them to proclaim the Gospel.
The Fourth Glorious Mystery — The Assumption of Our Blessed Mother
We contemplate Our Lady being taken body and soul into Heaven to be reunited with Her Divine Son.
The Fifth Glorious Mystery — The Coronation of Our Blessed Mother
We meditate upon Mary being crowned Queen of Heaven by the Most Holy Trinity and contemplate Her as our powerful and merciful Mother.
