THANK YOU FOR PRAYING – CONTINUE TO DO SO!

Today we conclude our 54-Day Rosary Novena

We thank everyone who has joined us in these most powerful prayers. We also wish to remind you that it is always a good time to pray such a novena, and never ‘too late’ to begin praying this novena – be it on your own, with your family, or even with a larger group. To that end, the videos and podcasts of the various priests leading the Rosaries will remain active. The main novena page will remain live and contain all the links to these prayer resources.

Above all, we encourage you to pray with complete confidence in Our Lady. The enemies of the Church of Jesus Christ, those both within and without, will be defeated. Our Lady will crush the head of the infernal serpent. Russia will be consecrated in the manner She has requested. The world will have a period of peace. And this will be acknowledged as a triumph of Her Immaculate Heart with a corresponding worldwide devotion.

Reflecting upon Our Novena at the Start of Advent

Back on October 7th, when the Church commemorated Our Lady’s great victory – through the Rosary – at Lepanto, The Fatima Center began a 54-Day Rosary Novena for:

The defeat of the enemies of the One True Church of Jesus Christ, and for world peace, through the Consecration of Russia, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in the manner requested by Our Lady of Fatima.

Today, as Advent begins, The Fatima Center concludes this most-powerful Novena. I perceive God’s Providence in these dates. We began on a day that 450 years ago saw the defeat of enemies who wished to destroy the Catholic Church. Today, there are many enemies who not only wish to destroy the Church, but wish to eradicate God from the memory, mind and heart of man.

As we end our Novena, Holy Mother Church draws our attention to eschatological matters (the End Times). In the Gospel, we hear Our Lord warn about cataclysmic events as He prepares us for His Second Coming. And throughout this season, we will clearly hear John the Baptist’s call to “Do penance, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand” (Mt 3:2). At Fatima, Our Lady echoed this pressing call of the Baptist, asking mankind to cease offending God and to turn to prayer and penance. She echoed Her Son’s prophecies, warning that if men refused to obey, there would be great tribulations.

As we enter December, even the days draw short with increasing darkness. Nature herself, fashioned so by God, reminds us of a chilling prophecy made by Our Lady of Buen Suceso (Good Success):

To test this faith and confidence of the just, there will be occasions when everything will seem to be lost and paralyzed. This, then, will be the happy beginning of the complete restoration.” – Our Lady to Mother Mariana (17th Century, Quito, Ecuador)

Our times certainly appear very dark. The vast majority of men still do not seem to recognize the need for conversion, prayer, and penance. Men today appear far more entrenched in their sin – and blinded to truth – than did the Ninevites who heeded Jonah’s call for repentance. Instead, ‘modern man’ continues to offend God with ever-worsening abominations. Thus, we must brace ourselves for greater personal trials, social tribulations, and global chastisements. Prepare the way of the Lord in your soul, by obeying all that Our Lady requested at Fatima – for a time is coming when men shall be even more lost and paralyzed than we are now.

Yet, we have supernatural hope, and supreme trust, in Our Lord and Our Lady. We know that the penance and darkness of Advent prepare us for the joy and light of Christmas. The times were dark 2000 years ago when Christ assumed a human nature; when the Light of the World was born of the Virgin, so as to suffer and die to save us from eternal death and open the Gates of Heaven. History recapitulates itself in the Mysteries of Our Lord and Our Lady, and so we too must expect to tread this path.

Use this liturgical season, a time of privileged grace, to make straight the paths of your soul, for Christ is near and He unfailingly saves those who are devoted to His Mother and remain faithful to Him. In addition to the daily Rosary, here are a few devotions we strongly recommend for the coming weeks:

Christmas Novena

Tomorrow – November 30 – marks 25 days prior to Christmas. It is also the feast of St. Andrew, the brother of St. Peter. A traditional devotion to begin on that day is the Christmas Novena, also called the St. Andrew Novena. We invite you to pray this novena and follow our posted version of Fr. Rodríguez leading it (Rumble, YouTube, Podcast). It is an ideal way to pray for the Light of Christ to shine in our world and to continue praying for the same intention of our 54-Day Rosary Novena.

Just Saturday we celebrated the Feast of the Miraculous Medal. We recall from that vision how St. Catherine Labouré noted that rays of light (grace!) streamed from rings upon Our Lady’s fingers, yet some rings remained dark. Our Lady explained that although She has many graces to give, many remain withheld because people do not pray and ask for them. At Fatima, Our Lady said that so many souls fall into hell because there is no one to pray for them. Let us not be counted among those who failed to ask for graces from Our Lady. Nay, let us instead pray, and continue to pray more.

Litany to the Immaculate Conception

December 8th is arguably the day hated most by satan, even more than Christmas and Easter. It is the day predicted in Genesis 3:15. It is the day that signals his inevitable defeat. It is the day that guarantees She will crush his head (ipsa conteret). Our Lady was perfectly sinless and the devil was never able to defeat Her – not even in Original Sin or the smallest non-deliberate venial sin.

Only by first meditating upon the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady can we begin to enter the Mystery of Her Immaculate Heart (which is so inseparable from and mystically united to the Sacred Heart that the saints can refer to them as One Heart). We must be united to Her Immaculate Heart, for this is the means by which God has chosen to save the world in our time. This lies at the essence of the Message of Fatima. This is why She humbly told the Fatima children, referring to Herself, “Only She can help you.”

For the month of December, we will therefore also post Fr. Rodríguez praying the Litany of the Immaculate Conception. This can be found at our Monthly Devotions and Litanies page. That same page is now complete, containing devotions for every month of the year. These are all contained in The Fatima Center’s Monthly Litanies booklet. We encourage you to use this prayer resource continually.

The Complete Restoration Is Coming

No matter what happens, do not lose hope. Yes, we find ourselves in an ‘Orwellian Brave New World’ but God has prepared us for these times, especially by sending His Own Mother. She has provided the solution and has given us advance warning as to what to expect. Re-read the Messages of Our Lady at Quito, at La Salette, at Lourdes, and at Fatima.

The Catholic Faith will be almost extinguished throughout the world. Many religious and ordained will be utterly corrupted. Impiety will run rampant. Modesty will hardly be found, even among the young. The leaders within the Church will fall silent when they should speak out. There will be a bishop dressed in white who appears to be the Holy Father. The Errors of Russia will spread over the face of the earth. Catholics will have to suffer martyrdom for the Faith.

And when things seem completely lost, utterly hopeless, and completely dark, then God will raise a prelate after His own heart; Russia will be consecrated; and the world shall be granted a period of peace. The Catholic Faith shall be restored, many will be converted, and Our Lady will triumph.

Let us always pray as little children whose minds and hearts are filled with complete confidence in their Heavenly Mother and Heavenly Father.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
