Our Duty Respecting the Fake Magisterium

Fatima Perspectives #1243

The Pope’s “rainbow” pectoral thing (I will not dignify it by calling it a Cross) tells us all we need to know about the already determined outcome of the Synod on Youth and Blah, Blah, Blah.  The whole point of this elaborate charade, which for the sake of truth in advertising should have been named “The Synod on Mainstreaming Sexual Perversion,” is to provide a mechanism by which the “gays” who have been agitating for “welcoming” and “acceptance” in the Church, led by that simpering subversive Father James Martin and his cardinal friends — all elevated into prominence and power by Francis — will be “welcomed” and “accepted.”

They will not have to renounce all sexual perversion as intrinsically evil or even recognize that homosexual acts are “intrinsically disordered” as the Catechism of John Paul II the Quickly Forgotten declared in line with 2,000 years of infallible Church teaching on sexual morality. They will join the already “welcomed” and “accepted” public adulterers in “second marriages,” whom Francis has authorized to receive Holy Communion while they “discern” their “complex situations” — meaning continue to have sexual relations outside of marriage — in keeping with what Francis has dared to label “authentic Magisterium” but which is really situation ethics, likewise condemned by John Paul the Quickly Forgotten.

Notice all the scare quotes in the preceding paragraph. They are necessary because this pontificate is a veritable fount of unheard-of novelties that cannot possibly be taken seriously as Catholic teaching for the rather salient reason that they undermine what the Church has always taught, including the teaching of The Quickly Forgotten on the “intrinsic impossibility” of Holy Communion for public adulterers and the “grave depravity” of homosexual acts.

The so-called “Magisterium of Pope Francis” — as if each Pope had his own personalized Magisterium, seasoned to taste — will now, according to Episcopalis Communio (EC), include the preordained outcome of the Synod on Youth and Blah, Blah, Blah.  The outcome of this phony operation will be passed off as decisions by a kind of mini-ecumenical council according to EC’s elevation of the human novelty of the Synod, invented by Paul VI, into a fake oracle of “the Spirit.” To quote EC, what a synod produces by its vote is nothing less than “the outcome of the working of the Spirit, the soul of the one Church of Christ.”

Nonsense, of course. The outcome of this Synod will be nothing but the outcome of the working of Francis and his cabal of synodal stage-managers, including the pro-“gay” Jesuit who has probably already written the “Synod’s” Final Document, Fr. Giacomo Costa, S.J., Vice President of the Carlo Martini Foundation, “dedicated to the cardinal who led the St. Gallen mafia [that plotted for the election of Francis as Pope], attacked Humanae Vitae, and endorsed same-sex civil unions. Fr. Costa has praised the 2014 synodal report on the ‘precious support’ found in same-sex relationships — rigged by none other than Archbishop Forte, the Martini disciple who joked about how he and the Pope wouldn’t speak ‘plainly’ about their plan to endorse Communion for adulterers at the family synod.”

According to the article on “the Magisterium of Pope Francis” linked above, which concerns the disastrous Amoris Laetitia, “Pope Francis cannot possibly be in error in his ordinary magisterium concerning issues of faith and morals, and thus his teaching that under certain, carefully considered cases, Holy Communion can be given to persons in irregular situations is perfectly valid and influenced by the Holy Spirit…”

More nonsense, of course.  Francis flatly contradicts John Paul II and all of Tradition on precisely that point, whereas the Holy Spirit cannot possibly contradict Himself. Therefore, while the true Magisterium cannot be wrong on a matter of faith and morals — as Father Gruner always insisted, defending the obvious — Francis certainly can be, and certainly is.  Were it otherwise, there would be no true Magisterium at all but only the fallible opinions of a series of men called Popes, each with his own merely human “magisterium.”

Therefore, the duty of the faithful in the face of the almost certain debacle of the Synod now in progress is the same as it is with respect to the results of the last Synod: rejection of its novelties and resistance to their acceptance by the human element of the Church.  We cannot forget that Sister Lucia, writing in light of the Third Secret of Fatima, issued the following prophetic warning to the late Cardinal (then Father) Caffarra, one of the few prelates who later fulfilled his duty of rejection and resistance to the errors of Amoris Laetitia:

“Father, a time will come when the decisive battle between the kingdom of Christ and Satan will be over marriage and the family. And those who will work for the good of the family will experience persecution and tribulation. But do not be afraid, because Our Lady has already crushed his head.”

From the divine perspective standing outside of time, Our Lady has already crushed the head of the serpent who, for the moment, is slithering about within the interstices of a Church in the grips of widespread apostasy. Her triumph will be made manifest in the temporal order following the Consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart by a Pope who reveres and defends the true Magisterium, recognizing that, as Pope Benedict XVI put it:

“The Pope is not an absolute monarch whose thoughts and desires are law. On the contrary: the Pope’s ministry is a guarantee of obedience to Christ and to his Word. He must not proclaim his own ideas, but rather constantly bind himself and the Church to obedience to God’s Word, in the face of every attempt to adapt it or water it down, and every form of opportunism.
