Conditional Baptism of Baby or Not?

Is it a good idea to conditionally baptize a baby whose parents have abandoned the Faith?

For an infant to be licitly baptized, at least one of the parents (or those who have assumed the role of raising the child) must consent, establishing a reasonable hope that the infant will be brought up in the Catholic religion. Otherwise, unless the baby were in danger of death, it would be a sacrilege – a mortal sin – to baptize an infant against the will of the parents.
