Canada’s National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima is coming to the Maritimes!
The Fatima Center will be hosting events in Halifax, Moncton, and Fredericton in mid-September. We invite you to join us to honor Our Lady and to listen to powerful talks on the Fatima Message – the only solution for our world.
This National Pilgrim Virgin of Fatima statue was blessed by Pope Paul VI on May 13, 1967, at Fatima, and designated to travel throughout Canada to spread Our Lady of Fatima’s Message. It was crowned by Bishop Joseph Windle at the Shrine of Our Lady of Knock in Quebec on May 13, 1971, the same day on which 69 other Pilgrim Virgin statues, blessed by the Pope and assigned to other nations, were crowned. This beautiful statue is known to have emitted different perfumes, changed its facial expressions, and been the source of other miracles.
At each event, we will pray the Holy Rosary before the Pilgrim Virgin statue, which will give you the opportunity to lay your petitions, problems, and special intentions at Her feet. You will also have the opportunity to be enrolled in the Brown Scapular, which is necessary to obtain the benefits from wearing it. (Please consider inviting Catholic family members and friends who have not been enrolled.) Free Fatima Center literature will be available for your own enrichment and to help you spread this soul-saving Message to others. Donations to help defray the costs of the events are needed and greatly appreciated.
