“Christian Education is centered upon the Triune God, respects parental rights, and forms students to pursue eternal happiness. The new Compact promoted by Pope Francis and the Vatican and supported by global elites has other goals.”
On October 15, 2020, Pope Francis and the Vatican will host a virtual meeting to promote ‘The Global Compact on Education.’ The Vatican initially scheduled this event for last May, but postponed it due to the global lockdown related to COVID-19.
As with many of Pope Francis’ initiatives, the outcome of this Global Compact has already been determined. The upcoming meeting is simply a formality to rubber-stamp the ideological agenda pushed by global elites and supported by Francis.
The Global Compact on Education is another major and essential step in Pope Francis’ great revolution. One of Francis’ top advisors, Cardinal Rodriguez-Maradiaga, made it clear that Francis aims to enact a ‘deep and total renovation’ of the Church until his changes ‘are irreversible.’
To evaluate this initiative properly, we must first review the foundational principles of Christian Education, as taught by the perennial teaching of Holy Mother Church. Reparation is also needed for these offenses, and we invite all Catholics to offer prayer and penance to this end.
