On Saturday, June 9, 2018, Our Lady’s Apostolate hosted “Fatima: Our Only Solution” Rosary Rally in Kansas City, Missouri. It was our first Rosary Rally in several years.
A Rosary Rally is a one day event, open to the public and free of charge. The Canadian National Pilgrim Virgin statue of Our Lady of Fatima is present for veneration, and the day includes the recitation of the Holy Rosary, and enrollment in the Brown Scapular besides several talks on the importance and necessity of Fatima, and significant goings on in today’s Church and world.
Fr. Michael Rodríguez and Mr. David Rodríguez, regular speakers at Fatima Center conferences, were the Rally’s two speakers.

Open Letter from Father Michael Rodriguez
to those living near Kansas City

I invite you to join me in gathering for a Rosary Rally sponsored by The Fatima Center on June 9th at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel, at the Kansas City Airport. Please make a special effort to come together with us for this day of prayer, talks, and mutual support in the Catholic Faith — a gathering of Catholic faithful where, by God’s grace and Our Lady’s intercession, we can draw strength and encouragement from one another.
Why do we hold such rallies? Because the world closes in on us from every side, making it seem that the supernatural revealed Truth is unimportant, a pious dream and illusion. Our Faith is always being attacked by the treacherous spirit of the world. Therefore, we, in turn, must take specific actions, often, to preserve, nurture, and invigorate the precious Faith which God has given us.
This Rosary Rally is a marvelous opportunity to gather with fellow Catholics who know and love the true Faith – together we can then defend and proclaim the true Faith, and realize that we are not alone, all for the glory of God and the salvation of souls!
The Message of Fatima is so important, yet it is unknown or ignored by many, even by those in the Church who should be proclaiming it from the pulpits. Worse, devotion to Our Lady and Her Rosary is often intentionally downplayed by modern Church leaders for fear of offending Protestants and unbelievers.
We must not be afraid! As Catholics, God has given us His truth! Our Lady appeared at Fatima to lead souls back to God and the truth. For the love of God, and for the love of our families, friends, and even enemies, we have a solemn duty to make this truth known. Our Lady’s Message must be broadcast and lived in every possible way!
We cannot begin to fathom how much Jesus loves His Mother, Mary, or how much He desires to see Her loved and honored by us. How can anyone think that Our Lord would be offended by or be jealous of the devotion shown to His Blessed Mother by His followers? Is not each one of us pleased when someone honors and loves our mother?
By contemplating the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, we are drawn into that most intimate love that binds Jesus and Mary. We even come to share in that love, and to know Our Lord and Our Lady more deeply and tenderly.
With the Rosary, we become spiritually present, through prayer and contemplation, at the great events of our Redemption – the joys, sorrows, and glories in the lives of Jesus and Mary.
Our hearts, ever subject to being led astray by the vanities of the world, are made more steadfast in the Lord and His truth when we reflect on the immense love of Jesus and Mary that we witness in the events of our Redemption.
Strengthened in the Spirit of God, we can then face the world, which loses its power to overwhelm or deceive us with its false claims and its constant babble of distractions.
All of these blessings and graces that come to us through the recitation of the Rosary are multiplied and magnified many times over whenever we come together to pray in common. Just imagine, then, how Our Lady will bless and reward those who take the time and effort to gather for a whole day of events in Her honor!
The sense of purpose, fellowship, and love for our Catholic Faith that is experienced at a Rosary Rally is a great treasure, an inexhaustible capital that will preserve us from the spiritual bankruptcy that is driving the world to ruin and despair.
I pray that you make every effort to come and join me in Kansas City. You will not regret it! Please come! I look forward to seeing you, and getting to visit personally with you.
