Meet our Speakers
Father Michael Rodríguez
Father Rodríguez was ordained a priest of the Diocese of El Paso, Texas in 1996. He is the third in a family of six children. He attended major seminary at the Pontifical North American College in Rome and completed his theological studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University. Early in his priesthood, he served as the Vocation Director for the Diocese of El Paso. Father speaks fluent English and Spanish and is proficient in German and Italian.
Father’s weekly sermons are posted at St. Vincent Ferrer Foundation, where you can subscribe for new sermon notifications.
He is regularly featured on Ask Father and at our conferences. We invite you to watch his personal testimony, “How I Left the New Mass and Found Tradition” and his six-part series on The First Saturday Devotion.
Father Karl Stehlin
Father Stehlin is a renowned Mariologist and Fatima expert and has led many pilgrimages to Fatima and written a series of books on Our Lady of Fatima. He was born in southern Germany and was ordained a priest in 1988, and is currently serving as the District Superior in Poland for the Society of St. Pius X. His apostolic work has also taken him to Gabon, Canada, and the Philippines. In addition to all his pastoral duties, Fr. Stehlin is a regular speaker at conferences and on The Fatima Center channels, serves as a retreat master, directs a branch of the Militia Immaculatae (Knights of the Immaculata), and strongly advocates consecrating one’s self to Our Lady.
John-Henry Westen
John-Henry lives in Canada’s Ottawa Valley. Co-founder and editor-in-chief of the immensely popular website LifeSite News, he has spoken at various conferences and is a frequent guest on television and radio in North America, Asia, and Europe. He is also the founder of the Rome Life Forum and Voice of the Family, serving on the committee for Canada’s annual national March for Life.
Angelica Filipe
Angelica Filipe is a 23-year-old cradle Catholic, born in Toronto, Canada. She is the third of four children, three of whom are with the Lord. Angelica considers herself somewhat of a revert to the Faith. Although she never left the Church (like many young Catholics who were not properly catechized) for some time, she was drawn to more Protestant ways of believing and worshipping. By the grace of God, she discovered Tradition and the Tridentine Latin Mass at the age of 16, and from that point on, her life was profoundly changed. Today, she lives in Fátima, Portugal with her parents and spends her time learning how to design and sew modest clothes, teaching English as a second language to children and adults, directing the polyphonic choir at her chapel, and discovering the history and beauty of Portugal with her loved ones.
Dr. Andrew Childs
Dr. Childs is a professor of music and public speaking. He is currently chair of humanities at St. Mary’s College in St. Marys, Kansas. Dr. Childs has taught at various institutions and is a gifted tenor and professional performer, singing with symphonies, orchestras, chamber and new music ensembles throughout the country. Dr. Childs is also a writer and conference speaker. He and his wife have been married 18 years and have 5 children.
Kevin Roerty
Kevin is a native of Colorado and founded the Souls of the Christian Apostolate in 2018. This organization is dedicated to forming lay apostles, promoting mental prayer, and fostering a spiritual renewal in the next generation of Catholics. Before that, Kevin discerned a vocation with the Fraternity of St. Vincent Ferrer (traditional French Dominicans). Kevin enjoys playing basketball and sampling craft breweries.
David Rodríguez
David serves as the Content Director for The Fatima Center. After graduate school in electrical engineering, he spent several years in a diocesan seminary and as a novice in a Cistercian monastery before earning his Master’s in Theology from the University of Dallas. David has spent over twenty years working in parishes, directing religious formation, hosting call-in shows on Catholic Radio, leading Catholic pilgrimage tours, and supporting Catholic non-profits aimed at recovering and restoring the traditions of our Catholic Faith. He is married and has seven children.
Many of David’s talks are posted on The Fatima Center’s website. We encourage you to view his micro-conferences series “Fatima: Why The Time Is Now.” If you would like to help host a Fatima micro-conference in your area, please contact us at info@fatima.org.
