"MAKE IT KNOWN TO THE HOLY FATHER THAT I STILL AWAIT THE CONSECR ATION OF RUSSIA TO MY IMMACULATE HEART. WITHOUT THAT CONSECR ATION, RUSSIA CANNOT BE CONVERTED, NOR CAN THE WOR LD HAVE PEACE." - Our Lady of Fatima
On Borrowed Time
We are in the final stages of what Sister Lucy told Cardinal Caffarra would be the final battle – the attack against the family. This battle begun centuries ago by the enemies of Christ is now being spearheaded by His vicar on earth. The very one who is supposed to be defending the sanctity of the Sacrament of Matrimony and preserving the family as established by Christ, has assumed the role of enemy within the Church, opening the door to the anti-Christ New World Order agenda against the family.
How did we get to this point where even the Pope seemingly no longer recognizes Catholic Truth and has lost his way?...
Without the Consecration of Russia,
the World Cannot Have Peace
On July 13, 1917, Our Lady of Fatima told the three children-seers (as part of the Great Secret which She committed to them), “[God] is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, hunger, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the Consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. If My requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred; the Holy Father will have much to suffer; various nations will be annihilated.”
Twelve years later, on June 13, 1929, Our Lady kept Her promise to return to announce Heaven’s formal request for the Consecration of Russia, in no uncertain terms: “The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the Consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means.”
The moment had come, Our Lady said, and the Church’s hierarchy had been given twelve years in which to ready themselves for that moment so they could act with appropriate swiftness, in prompt obedience. And yet, no response at all was forthcoming. Our Lady’s request — rather, God’s own command — for the Consecration of Russia fell on deaf ears.
After two years and two months, in August 1931, Our Lord complained bitterly to Sister Lucy (the only surviving visionary of the Fatima apparitions) of His ministers’ hardness of heart in “delaying the execution of [His] command.”
Years continued to pass, and in 1935, Sister Lucy’s confessor, who had been doing all in his power to influence the Pope to perform the Consecration of Russia, wrote to her wondering if he was wasting his efforts. “Shall I continue to insist? Does the promise still hold good after all these years?” he asked. And Sister Lucy answered simply, “Yes.” “Should I change the terms in any way to more easily obtain a result of some kind, such as for a consecration of the entire world by the Holy Father alone?” “No”, she answered, “there is no other course, no other solution.”
Another year passed without any more success than before, and this same confessor wrote again to Sister Lucy, asking the same questions. In a letter of May 1936, she again gave the same answer, but this time in a strikingly different way:
“Should you continue to insist? I don’t know,” she answered. “Intimately I have spoken to Our Lord about the subject, and recently I asked Him why He would not convert Russia without the Holy Father making that Consecration.” And He answered, “Because I want My whole Church to acknowledge that Consecration as a triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, so that it may extend its cult later on and put the devotion to this Immaculate Heart alongside the devotion to My Sacred Heart.”
In other words, even if all of our efforts toward bringing about the Consecration of Russia seem to be wasted and the cause appears hopeless, in fact promoting the fulfillment of the Fatima request is our only hope, and the most important object of our labors and prayers.
World peace simply cannot
be had by any other means.
The controllers of the New World Order can propose a new war to end all wars, or put the hopes of mankind in human diplomacy. Errant church leaders can call another fruitless Church Council falsely placing the dignity of man above God, and organize heretical pan-religious peace conferences year after year, but nothing will work except the Consecration of Russia!
In 1942, Pope Pius XII was prevailed-upon to make a consecration of the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and many Catholics, acting out of a confused sense of loyalty to the Pope, began advancing the notion that this act was the fulfillment of the Fatima request. But then Our Lady Herself gave a specific clarification to correct that error. In an apparition to Sister Lucy in May 1952, Our Lady said:
“Make it known to the Holy Father that I still await the Consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart. Without that Consecration, Russia cannot be converted, nor can the world have peace.”
Time Is Limited
Tragically, countless lives and souls have already been lost through the chastisements plaguing the world and the Church, from which Our Lady could long since have spared us, and the future promises only worse losses to come.
No one knows when, but what’s ahead is certain. For us to continue on our present course — despising the Message of Fatima (and thus compounding our guilt by dishonoring the Mother of God!) — can only lead to the realization of the direst of Our Lady’s warnings, including the annihilation of whole nations and the sudden loss of millions if not billions of souls.
Heaven has extended to us the means of preventing this catastrophe, but the time that we have been given to implement this measure is limited.
In the revelation of August 1931, Our Lord made a frightening reference to the fate of the King of France, to whom He had given exactly 100 years to comply with His request that the king consecrate France to His Sacred Heart, promising thereby to deliver it from its enemies.
(That request was given through St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in 1689. Three successive kings of France chose to ignore Our Lord’s request, until 100 years later — to the day! — when the French monarchy was definitively subverted and overthrown. King Louis XVI, who was reigning in 1789, “had much to suffer” at the hands of the revolutionaries — in humiliations, in prison, and finally on the scaffold of a guillotine.)
“Make it known to My ministers,” Our Lord told Sister Lucy, “that given they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My command [i.e., now for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary], they will likewise follow him into misfortune.”
Our Lord did not explicitly say that He would allow the Pope and bishops no more than 100 years to finally obey Him – whether from 1917, when Our Lady first spoke of the Consecration of Russia, or from 1929 when She returned to announce Heaven's formal request for the Consecration – but it is not difficult to recognize this implication of 100 years. Certainly Our Lord will not allow us to despise and dishonor His Mother indefinitely.
“Let us remember,” said Sister Lucy, “that Jesus Christ is a very good Son. He does not permit that we offend and despise His Most Holy Mother. We find recorded throughout the centuries of the Church’s history a clear lesson contained in the terrible chastisements which have befallen those who have attacked the honor of His Most Holy Mother, demonstrating how Our Lord Jesus Christ has always defended the honor of His Mother.”
In his book of meditations titled Preparation for Death, St. Alphonsus Liguori draws our attention to a passage in the Book of Wisdom: “Thou hast ordered all things by measure, number, and weight.” (11:21). With God, the Saint says, everything is precisely measured — as if with an eyedropper, Father Gruner used to add. Whatever may be our time limit to implement Heaven’s command for the Consecration of Russia, it is surely fast approaching. We simply cannot go on in our present course with impunity.
Neither can we expect to be left at our ease until the Consecration is finally done. Without Our Lady’s intervention, the reign of iniquity in this world will continue advancing to levels we can hardly imagine, at the same time making it more and more difficult to perform the Consecration. It is already abundantly clear that faithful Catholics will find no welcome in the New World Order taking shape around us. “The good will be martyred,” Our Lady of Fatima said flatly.
The World Has Gone in the Opposite Direction from That Shown by Our Lady
Throughout the hundred years which have passed since the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, diabolic errors — both ideological and practical — have been taking root throughout the world, just as She warned, pitting mankind more and more against the reign of Jesus Christ. Now hostilities in the war-torn Middle East threaten to erupt into a Third World War of unimaginable destructiveness, and even within the Church, chaos and scandal reign in the midst of a moral, doctrinal and disciplinary collapse such as has never been seen in its 2000-year history.
Our Lady of Fatima warned that such crises (particularly wars and persecutions of the Church) would come upon us as a punishment for the sins of the world if men did not amend their lives.
Do we deserve these chastisements? It is estimated that more than one billion people have been killed by abortions (whether surgical or chemical or in laboratories) in just the last 20 years — more than one billion, fully a seventh of the world’s entire population, in just 20 years. And in the past 100 years since abortion was first legalized (in communist Russia in 1919), the number defies calculation but is surely in the billions.
It is written in Sacred Scripture that there are four sins that cry to Heaven for vengeance, and one of them is the shedding of innocent blood, the killing of innocent persons. The innocent blood of these billions of babies slaughtered in the womb, cries to Heaven for vengeance against us all. At no other time in the history of the world has there been a generation which has institutionalized such a heinous crime, giving protection of law not to the innocent but to their murderers, in societies of virtually every nation around the globe.
Another sin that cries to Heaven for vengeance is the sin of unnatural vice, the sin of Sodom, which is also being institutionalized all across the world. As Pope John Paul II said in one of his homilies at the Fatima Shrine, the world has gone in the opposite direction from that indicated by Our Lady in 1917.
The world continues to build up against itself a tremendous debt, not just financially, but above all morally, provoking the justice of God, and there will be a terrible price to pay for it if we do not invoke Our Lady — in the precise way shown to us by Heaven — to intervene on our behalf with the inestimable merits of Her Immaculate Heart.
We Must Act Now
Our Lady concluded Her announcement of Heaven’s command for the Consecration of Russia with a plea of Her own: “Sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray!” When the Consecration is finally done, the wonderful cause and effect relationship of its miraculous results will point directly to Our Lady’s great glory, out of all proportion to the human effort and merit involved, but in the meantime She is asking us to play a part in bringing the Consecration about. Obviously, up to this point we have not done what was needed, either in our prayers or sacrifices or in petitioning our Church leaders, or in explaining and encouraging our friends and acquaintances to be doing the same.
Our time for decision and action is now very short. There will be terrible consequences that reach each one of us, for our collective refusal to do what it takes to get the Consecration of Russia done. In the Third Secret Vision we see the Holy Father being executed by a band of soldiers, but not alone — “In the same way,” Sister Lucy wrote, “there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions.” We’re all in this together, and our only way out is the Consecration of Russia.
