Schockenhoff “Masterminds” Shock-and-Awe at Synod II

by Christopher A. Ferrara
June 6, 2015

As the Phony Synod prepares for its second session in October, the cabal of subversive German prelates Francis has empowered through its mechanism is planning a coup that would dwarf in significance what the “Rhine group” of German subversives pulled off at Vatican II.

As reported by the redoubtable Edward Pentin, on May 26 key representatives of the German cabal, some 50 in number, conducted a secret session at the Gregorian in Rome which was also attended by selected representatives of the far-Left press who, just as the press did at Vatican II, will “be used to promote the agenda of the subject matter under discussion” at the secret gathering.

Of course, it did not take long for the secret gathering to leak like a sieve.  Pentin reports some of the devastating disclosures:

One of the key topics discussed at the closed-door meeting was how the Church could better welcome those in stable same-sex unions, and reportedly “no one” opposed such unions being recognized as valid by the Church.
Participants also spoke of the need to “develop” the Church’s teaching on human sexuality and called not for a theology of the body, as famously taught by St. John Paul II, but the development of a “theology of love.”
One Swiss priest discussed the “importance of the human sex drive,” while another participant, talking about holy Communion for remarried divorcees, asked: “How can we deny it, as though it were a punishment for the people who have failed and found a new partner with whom to start a new life?”

Marco Ansaldo, a reporter for the Italian far-Left newspaper La Repubblicathe only newspaper Francis reads, by the way—revealed that the proposals he had heard behind closed doors were “revolutionary, uttered by clergymen.”

Pentin reports that one of the “specialists” advising the cabal on how to conduct their subversion at Synod II is the notorious Father Eberhard Schockenhoff, who laughably holds himself out as a “moral theologian.” Writes Pentin: “Faithful German Catholics are particularly disturbed about the rise to prominence of Father Schockenhoff, who is understood to be the ‘mastermind’ behind much of the challenge to settled Church teachings among the German episcopate and, by implication, at the synod on the family itself.”

Schockenhoff is a one of the commanders of the neo-Modernist Panzer division that plans to crush opposition under its tank treads in October.  He is, as Pentin notes, a “prominent critic of Humanae Vitae, as well as a strong supporter of homosexual clergy and those pushing for reform in the area of sexual ethics…” Naturally, Schockenhoff advocates the admission of public adulterers to Holy Communion in keeping with the proposal of “the Pope’s theologian,” the neo-Modernist termite Walter Kasper.

Schockenhoff has also “praised the permanence and solidarity shown in some same-sex relationships as ‘ethically valuable’” and has “urged that any assessment of homosexual acts ‘must take a back seat’ on the grounds that the faithful are becoming “increasingly distant from the Church’s sexual morality,” which appears “unrealistic and hostile to them.”  He demands, in short, nothing less than that the Church’s teaching on sexual morality be “liberated from the natural law” and based instead on the “life experience of the faithful.” In other words: the institutionalization of sexual immorality in the life of the Church, precisely as suggested in the bogus “midterm report” of Synod I, which Francis and his Synod controllers failed to ram down the throats of the Synod majority.

Behold “Father” Shockenhoff, who—and this should surprise no one—is a wolf in businessman’s clothing:

At the conclusion of Synod I, Francis had the audacity to declare that his utterly reckless invitation to disaster, which quickly and predictably devolved into the devil's playground, is being guided by the Holy Spirit and that it will ultimately announce what “the God of surprises” has in store for us.  But as Shockenhoff and his fellow storm troopers of dissent prepare to shock and awe the orthodox cardinals and bishops at Synod II, we must pray that the Holy Spirit brings down the curtain on this farce before it becomes a debacle that would make Vatican II look like the Council of Trent by comparison.

Pray indeed, then, that the “God of surprises” has an October surprise—a most unpleasant one—for the demons the Phony Synod has unleashed upon the Church.  And watch carefully what happens on October 13, 2015, the midpoint of Synod II, for October 13, 1962—the anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima—was the date on which the traditional preparation of Vatican II was subverted by Cardinal Liénart, who grabbed the microphone out of order, demanded the election of new drafting committees to prepare the Council’s documents, and thus changed the course of human history.  The Church has been suffering ever since.
