The Consecration of Russia: Consequences for the World

For Fulfillment

When the Pope and all of the Catholic bishops of the world consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, what will be the result? What will the promised Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary look like?

Many are not aware that God has given us a glimpse of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It occurred in Portugal, after the Portuguese bishops solemnly consecrated their country to the Immaculate Heart, on May 13, 1931.

As a result of the consecration, Portugal experienced a three-fold miracle:

  • there was a magnificent Catholic Renaissance, during which there was a striking rebirth of Catholic life;
  • there was a miraculous political and social reform, in line with Catholic social principles, took place; and
  • there was a two-fold miracle of peace, during which Portugal was spared from both the Spanish Civil War and the Second World War.

Portugal’s Cardinal Cerejeira affirmed that the above-mentioned graces, which completely transformed the nation, were due to Our Lady of Fatima. He stated, “To express what has been going on here for twenty-five years, the Portuguese vocabulary has but one word: miracle. Yes, we are convinced that we owe the wonderful transformation of Portugal to the protection of the Most Holy Virgin.”

The Cardinal also stated that the manifold blessings Our Lady obtained for Portugal are a sample of what She will obtain for the entire world, once Russia is properly consecrated to Her Immaculate Heart. “What has taken place in Portugal proclaims the miracle,” he asserted. “And it foreshadows what the Immaculate Heart of Mary has prepared for the world.”

With the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart, and the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, the entire world will experience the graces Portugal experienced following its consecration. However, they will be on a global scale, and necessarily, much more striking! There will be peace throughout the world. Nations will accept the reign of Christ the King, and will thus base their laws upon His Laws. And the Catholic Church will be renewed, and all peoples and nations will be converted to the fervent practice of the Catholic Faith.

For a more detailed description of the miraculous transformation of Portugal, which is a preview of what the entire world will experience when the collegial Consecration of Russia is done, see “The Consecrations of Portugal (1931, 1938) and their Benefits”.

For Non-Fulfillment

History has demonstrated the results of the Pope and bishops’ failure to consecrate Russia. We have seen countless wars and conflicts: World War II; the Korean and Vietnam Wars; countless bloody revolutions in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia; the recent Iraqi war, etc. Also, we have the war against the unborn being fought, even on our own soil, in which 50 million babies are killed every year worldwide.

All around us we have evidence that we are not living in the period of peace promised by Our Lady of Fatima. Yet all of these horrible punishments could have been avoided, and future problems can still be avoided, through the Consecration of Russia. It is the Pope and bishops’ delay in fulfilling the command of God to perform a collegial Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary that has allowed the terrible devastations of the past century – after 1929, when the formal command for the Consecration was given – to occur. The destruction will only continue to escalate if the conversion of Russia is not obtained; we will see the predicted enslavement of the whole world, and the actual annihilation of various nations.

Thus the consequences of neglecting to perform this simple act of consecration are immeasurable. We must pray that it be done soon, and that we be spared from enslavement and annihilation. Just as the first Pope, St. Peter, was freed from prison by the early Christians’ prayers, our current Pope can be similarly aided by our prayers, so that he will finally obey Heaven’s requests and consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
